Protest reaches 93 days in the capital, citizens regroup in front of government building

Today marked the 93rd consecutive day of the opposition action in Tirana, as participants returned to the rally and symbolic march in a sign of discontent with the executive and the political spectrum.

Those present initially gathered in “Skënderbej” Square, from where they set off in a march along “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, making a symbolic stop in front of the Prime Minister’s Office headquarters.

During this day as well, the platform of demands has not undergone any changes: the current cabinet must leave immediately and be replaced by a technical executive.

After listening to the speeches held near the government building, the protesters are expected to move again through the main arteries of Tirana, openly displaying their opposition to the political climate in Albania.

The mobilization has now lasted 93 days without interruption, and the organizers warn that their resistance will not die down until the ultimatums are resolved.
