Protest outside Parliament accompanied by tensions, police take 25 people into custody

Following tensions during today’s protest outside Parliament, at least 25 people were taken into police custody. The gathering began while the plenary session was under way.

Journalist Xhensila Kodra reported for News24 that the detained protesters were taken to Police Station No. 1.

Today’s plenary session began at 10:00 a.m. At the same time, protesters held the announced gathering outside Parliament, addressing politicians with the chant: “You do not represent us.”
