An EasyJet flight that had departed from Pristina bound for Berlin returned urgently to Pristina International Airport after an eagle is suspected to have entered one of the aircraft’s engines.
According to the testimony of a passenger who was on board, the incident happened immediately after takeoff, when the bird struck the engine and caused damage to the turbine.

Before landing safely in Pristina, the plane remained in the air for around 20 minutes.
After landing, the journey to Berlin was canceled.
The passenger said the situation remained under control throughout, thanks to the professionalism of the pilot, who returned the plane to the airport without consequences.
So far, there has been no official reaction regarding this case from airline company EasyJet or from Pristina International Airport.
