In a post on social media, Kurti described the verdict as unjust and unacceptable, reports IndeksOnline.
He stressed that the harsh sentences handed down to the former KLA commanders represent a profound injustice and a severe blow with harmful consequences.
“Today’s decision by the Specialist Chambers dismissed the main remaining charge in the indictment, namely that the KLA had carried out a widespread and organized action against the civilian population, proving that the purpose of this trial was not to establish the purity of the KLA’s liberation war,” Kurti declared.
