Today, President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, received the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić-Radman, in a meeting where they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and the strategic partnership between the two countries.

During the conversation, both sides praised the high level of cooperation between Albania and Croatia, as well as the ongoing support Zagreb provides to Albania’s European integration process.
The meeting also focused on opportunities to expand cooperation in areas such as economy, defense, energy, infrastructure, and tourism.
The head of state thanked Croatia for the continued support it has given Albania in all international forums during the journey towards the European Union.
Begaj also stressed that this support remains an important element for the advancement of the integration process.
For his part, the Croatian minister reaffirmed his country’s readiness to continue supporting Albania in every aspect of the EU accession process.
President Begaj also expressed gratitude for Croatia’s stance in support of Kosovo, underlining that cooperation between the two countries is important for preserving peace, security, and stability in the region.
