Powerful Fire in Serbia, Smoke Heading Toward North Macedonia

A large-scale fire that broke out in Serbian territory is advancing toward the border with North Macedonia. The fire is moving from the area of the Serbian village of Tërnava toward the village of Strazha in the Municipality of Likova, above the Tabanoc border crossing.

Dense clouds of smoke have already engulfed almost the entire Municipality of Likova, as well as parts of the Municipality of Haraçina, while the smell of smoke has also been detected in Kumanovo. Residents are calling for intervention to bring the flames under control before they reach Macedonian territory, as this is a highly intense fire.
