During the tourist season, the number of trips from Italy to Albania has risen significantly, keeping passenger traffic entering through the Port of Vlora high.

A total of 1,388 passengers arrived at the port today alone on the two ferries operating on the Brindisi–Vlora route, “Ionian Star” and “European Star”.
According to data shown in the arrival reports, the passengers were accompanied by 291 vehicles, 10 motorhomes and 31 motorcycles.
The “Ionian Star” brought 817 passengers to Vlora, while the “European Star” transported another 571, figures that demonstrate the high intensity of arrivals during August.
Considerable traffic was also recorded in the opposite direction, with around 700 passengers registered as departing from the Port of Vlora.
Port traffic is expected to remain high in the other days of August as well, a period that marks one of the highest levels of passenger movement to and from Albania.
