Police implement operational plan in northern Kosovo, vehicles with national symbols stopped

Kosovo Police are implementing an operational plan in the northern part of the country.

As part of this operation, vehicles displaying national symbols are not being allowed to pass through North Mitrovica.

Veton Elshani, deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the North Mitrovica region, has spoken about the situation.

Elshani said that the plan was “nothing extraordinary,” while stressing that “disruption of public order and peace is not allowed.”
