The Kosovo Police have once again appealed to citizens for help in locating Xhafer Raqi from Prishtina, who has been reported missing since July 2.

Although search operations and investigative activities are continuing, the authorities say they have still been unable to obtain any leads regarding his whereabouts. Following authorization from the state prosecutor, police have asked citizens to provide any information that could help.
According to the official announcement, the disappearance of Xhafer Raqi, born in 1948, was reported at the Central Police Station in Prishtina on 02.07.2026.
Since the report was filed, police investigative units, the Kosovo Security Force search-and-rescue unit and patrols, in coordination with the relevant prosecution office and in close cooperation with his family, have carried out a series of operations.
The measures undertaken included questioning people who might have information about his whereabouts, checking entries and exits at all border crossing points, and searching areas that Raqi usually frequented, both outdoors and indoors.
The authorities have also reviewed and investigated every piece of information that could be related to the missing person.
