Pëllumb Salillari goes to trial, company built floors without a permit at the building complex in Farka

The Tirana Court has forwarded to a court session the case against Pëllumb Salillari’s company for the criminal offense of illegal construction. According to the charges, investigators have found evidence and facts that in Farka, where the company was building, unauthorized floors were found that were not provided for in the construction permit.

The Tirana Court has accepted the prosecution’s request to forward the case against Pëllumb Salillari’s company to trial for the criminal offense of illegal construction.

The investigations have established that the “Salillari” firm had received permission from the Municipality of Tirana in 2020 to build a building with 6 floors above ground, in addition to parking.

However, what resulted from the authorities’ on-site inspection two years later was that the building had an additional floor of about 2,500 m2 without a permit.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office’s announcement on July 6, 2022, the services of the Farka Police Post at the Police Commissariat No. 1 Tirana were notified by the operational room of the Tirana Local Police Directorate that on the state police portal “Digital Commissariat” there are several notifications from residents of the Botanical Garden area, “Bilal Sina” Street, Administrative Unit No. 13 Tirana, stating that the entity “Salillari shpk” is building buildings without a permit.

After comparing the documents with the Municipality of Tirana, it resulted that the company “Salillari” was found in violation. Two representatives of the company have been placed under investigation for this matter.

A few days ago, another businessman Lulzim Morina was also charged by Tirana for the criminal offense of illegal construction.

During investigations into several criminal proceedings registered against this citizen and the company he manages, for the period 2021-2024, it was found that this company exceeded the construction permits obtained for residential and service buildings in several cases.
