PE “Water Supply and Sewerage”: Tests Confirm That Skopje’s Water Is Safe for Consumption

The results of the latest weekly monitoring conducted by the Public Enterprise “Water Supply and Sewerage” – Skopje show that the city’s drinking water is of good quality and safe for consumption.

During the period from 04.08.2026 to 07.08.2026, the Sanitary Control Department collected 162 samples for physicochemical analyses and an equal number, 162 samples, for microbiological analyses. The samples were taken at 45 measuring points in the City of Skopje.

The analyses confirmed that all samples meet the criteria set out in the Regulation on the Requirements for the Safety and Quality of Drinking Water.
