The Public Enterprise “Water Supply and Sewerage” – Skopje announced this morning that water throughout Skopje is safe to drink. This was confirmed by the weekly laboratory report on the quality and safety of drinking water.

The report’s data are based on inspections carried out by the Sanitary Control Department. From August 10 to August 14, 211 samples were collected from 45 monitoring points in the City of Skopje for physical and chemical analyses, along with another 211 drinking water samples for microbiological testing.
The public enterprise said in a statement that the test results showed all samples complied with the regulation governing drinking water safety and quality requirements.
