Several bills affecting the agricultural sector were approved by Parliament in a session in which the opposition did not take part in the vote after deciding to boycott it. Socialist MP Erion Braçe took a different position from the majority on two of the initiatives, abstaining on one and voting against the other.
The bill “On commercial certificates for agricultural products” was approved with 71 votes in favour. Erion Braçe was the only MP to abstain, while the sole vote against came from Erald Kapri.

The bill “On the agricultural census” secured 77 votes in favour, with no abstentions. Kapri was the only one to vote against it.
The bill “On several amendments and additions to Law No. 27/2016, ‘On the Management of Chemicals’, as amended” also received the support of 78 MPs. There were no abstentions, while Erald Kapri was again the only MP to vote against it.
The amendment to the aquaculture law passed with 76 votes in favour and no abstentions. In this case as well, the sole vote against came from Opportunity Party MP Erald Kapri.
Two votes against were recorded during the vote on the bill “On several additions and amendments to Law No. 9244, dated 17.6.2004, ‘On the Protection of Agricultural Land’, as amended”. The initiative was approved with 78 votes in favour and no abstentions, while Erion Braçe and Erald Kapri voted against it.
