Deputy Fitore Pacolli announced that another inspection was carried out today at the “Dukagjini Lake” restaurant after the order issued by the Ministry of Environment’s Inspectorate to immediately halt its operations had not been implemented. The inspection was conducted with the assistance of the Kosovo Police.

According to Pacolli, despite the closure decision, the restaurant’s owner continued operating.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against him for unlawfully continuing the activity.
Pacolli recalled that decisions by state institutions must be implemented by everyone and that no one can challenge the state.
She stressed that Kosovo’s waters and public property cannot be damaged for private interests, emphasizing that the rule of law and the protection of nature remain non-negotiable.
