Opposition Continues Action Outside Government, Demaku: Kurti Cannot Play with Institutions

Parliamentary groups from the PDK and the Alliance, together with assembly members and activists from Anamorava, have continued their symbolic action in front of the Kosovo government building.

Speaking to the media, opposition representatives, activists and assembly members once again called on the party that won the June 7 elections to unblock the country’s institutions.

A representative from Anamorava said that Kosovo’s institutions must be returned to its citizens and that they must serve them.

PDK MP Fadil Demaku addressed acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, calling on him to return to the institutions.

Demaku said that Kosovo’s society, which has gone through difficult processes, would not accept Albin Kurti continuing to play with the country’s institutions. According to him, yesterday’s action has not changed the opposition’s position either, as the country is still outside the constitutional order.
