According to OBRM-PDUKM, the Social Democratic League has demonstrated complete hypocrisy in the Gostivar case, where leader Venko Filipçe remains silent, protects his own, and does not hold accountable the officials he strongly supported during the extraordinary local elections.

The party accuses Filipçe of openly calling for trust in Valbon Limani, even though the local administration in Gostivar – which includes SDSM, DUI, and Arben Taravari – failed to manage the drinking water contamination situation.
The reality is that local authorities did not react in time to protect residents’ health, forcing the Government and central institutions to intervene urgently. Bottled water was distributed, a supply for technical needs was arranged, and work is underway rapidly to normalize the situation and make the water safe for consumption again.
OBRM-PDUKM believes that SDSM has no moral right to talk about accountability, as long as it justifies its own people and overlooks their mistakes. If they sincerely support political responsibility, let them start with themselves. According to them, SDSM and Filipçe lecture on morality, call for resignations, and present themselves as champions of accountability, but when their own officials are implicated, they shut their mouths. Filipçe remains silent and does not demand responsibility from his candidate, Valbon Limani, who runs the city.
