The case relates to the 2024–2025 period, when the legally mandated fee for waste from imported textiles was allegedly neither declared nor paid. The unpaid amount totals 3,852,067 denars, causing damage to the state budget.

According to the Directorate, the first reported person, T.D., acting as the manager of the second reported legal entity, knowingly and with prior intent sought to secure unlawful financial gain for himself and the legal entity. During 2024–2025, in violation of Articles 23 and 54 of the Law on the Management of Additional Waste Streams, he neither declared nor paid to the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of the Republic of North Macedonia the waste fee related to textiles imported by the second reported legal entity, totaling 3,852,067 denars.

The Directorate stated that, in order to conceal the failure to declare and pay this legal obligation, on April 17, 2026, the first reported person initiated proceedings with the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia to liquidate the second reported legal entity.

The institution added that the actions described caused total damage of 3,852,067 denars to the Budget of the Republic of North Macedonia.
