Following the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly, at a session attended by no PDK lawmakers, acting Finance Minister Hekuran Murati reacted.

He also addressed the support that VV lawmakers gave to Serb List candidate Tanja Vujoviq for the position of deputy speaker of the Assembly.
Murati said that the Serb List, as the representative of the majority of lawmakers from the Serb community, holds this position on the Assembly’s leadership team. According to him, the vote for Vujoviq was necessary to complete the constitution process.
“It is not that we all voted for them, but the last candidate in line, when there was no other option, was the woman who was presented. We voted for her so that the Assembly could be constituted, because the constitution of the Assembly could not be held hostage,” Murati said.
