The event aims to express respect and honor for the victims of enforced disappearances, as well as solidarity with the families who have been seeking for more than two decades to uncover the truth and learn the fate of their relatives.

“This activity is being organized in the spirit of close interinstitutional cooperation and in partnership with associations of the families of missing persons, recognizing their contribution and continued cooperation in the process of searching for and clarifying the fate of missing persons,” the statement said.
