Responding to journalists’ questions, he said that claims of such dissatisfaction were being circulated by the opposition and by some media outlets close to it, which, according to him, were not presenting the truth and were trying to distort it.
Mickoski stressed that the meeting with the president of the European Commission was held at a high level and was substantive and friendly. He added that the European Union’s personal commitment and support for the future were an incentive for the government to continue implementing reforms.
“President von der Leyen said that this government was carrying out inspiring work, as she put it, on reforms and in all efforts related to the country’s membership in the European Union. She has never said this in this way before,” he said.
According to Mickoski, in the period ahead, the intensity of this process must be jointly increased and a solution must be found for the current situation.
