Mickoski: The people must clearly distinguish the politics of justifications from the one that produces results

North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski stated today that the government post is not an end in itself, but an instrument to serve the citizens. He made these comments during the 112th parliamentary session, where changes in the government cabinet composition are expected.

Speaking about the proposal to dismiss some ministers, he described them as moral, dignified, and above all, honest individuals.

The Prime Minister emphasized that today they are not parting with people who have not worked, but on the contrary, with those who have made their contribution in leading various departments, helping to implement the program for which the citizens voted.

“From the moment we took office, I have clearly said: this executive will not be a comfort government, but a government that generates results. Posts will not be treated as earned privileges, but as obligations that must be re-earned every day. This was not an electoral phrase, it was a guiding principle. Today we are proving that this principle applies without exception to everyone,” said Mickoski.

He added that the government restructuring should not be interpreted as the end of someone’s engagement.

“Citizens deserve to see with their own eyes the difference between a politics that settles for justifications and a politics that generates concrete achievements,” concluded Mickoski./Telegrafi/
