North Macedonia Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced that he held a meeting with representatives of the country’s largest supermarket chains to discuss lowering food prices.
According to his statement, a working meeting was held yesterday focused on tackling inflation and the rise in the prices of basic food products.

He stressed that in the coming period there will also be meetings with suppliers and producers, so that a joint contribution can be made to keep annual inflation and the prices of basic products in July below 3 percent.
Mickoski said the Government remains committed to measures that protect living standards and guarantee greater security for citizens.
