Former Democratic Party of Kosovo leader Memli Krasniqi issued a brief statement following the Special Court’s decision against the former leaders of the KLA.

He described the decision as “Injustice. Vileness,” stressing that it was not made in his name or in the name of the people of Kosovo.
“Not in my name! Nor in the name of the people of Kosovo. The battle continues, until freedom! KLA forever!” Krasniqi wrote.
The Special Court sentenced Hashim Thaçi to 25 years in prison, Jakup Krasniqi to 25 years, Kadri Veseli to 18 years and Rexhep Selimi to 13 years.
