Mehdi Malkaj in front of the Prime Minister’s Office: Rama should be in prison, not the protesters

Well-known actor Mehdi Malkaj, during his speech in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, declared that while protesters are being arrested, in his view Prime Minister Edi Rama should be the one put in handcuffs, accusing him of having sold out Albania.

He used harsh language against Rama, saying that even mentioning his name sullies the Albanian language.

“Those who spoke before me enriched the Albanian language, because Edi Rama, that scoundrel, that filth, that bastard, because his name soils our language.

I heard that some of the boys from the protest have been arrested; if we are equal before the law, why don’t they put this scoundrel in prison?

Why don’t they put him there to rot?

He has given away 12 miles of sea, Vlora, Lezha, Butrint, we no longer have them, he has sold them.

We must look at all these things and love our homeland.

There is nothing more beautiful than Albania,” he said.
