Abdixhiku made no public statement after leaving the meeting. He also did not say whether the two sides had reached an agreement or found common ground on electing the President.
The meeting took place a day after Kurti’s talks with PDK leader Bedri Hamza, which also produced no concrete agreement.
The political leaders’ meetings are taking place as the deadline for electing Kosovo’s President approaches.
The Assembly must elect a new President by October 6. If it fails to do so within the constitutional deadline, Kosovo will hold new elections.
