For 50 consecutive days, citizens’ protests against the executive have continued, while movement representatives have announced a powerful gathering on July 23 in front of the Albanian Parliament.
One of the activists stressed that through 50 full days of demonstrations, the people aim to send a clear signal to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

He stated that the purpose of this prolonged movement is precisely to make the head of the government aware that the citizens have rejected him. The 23rd, when the session will take place, has been set as the time for a large-scale protest.
Also, he announced that a symbolic action will be organized the next day in front of the parliament building, while the main mobilization is expected to peak on the morning of July 23.
The activist clarified that the next day will serve as a preliminary expression of protest as a warning, while the powerful gathering is scheduled for the morning of the 23rd, where Parliament meets.
For seven weeks, protesters have continuously held rallies in the capital, expressing demands for changes in the political scene and stressing that civil resistance will continue in the coming days.
