A magnitude 5.1 earthquake on the Richter scale struck Longchang city in China’s southwestern Sichuan Province on Friday. The earthquake was recorded at 1:13 p.m. Beijing local time.

The China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) said the epicenter was located within Longchang city, while the tremors occurred at a depth of approximately 13 kilometers.
So far, there have been no reports of casualties or serious damage caused by the earthquake.
