Protesters returned to the square in Tirana today, continuing the revolt against the government for the 111th consecutive day.

A day earlier, the 110th protest began at 10:00 a.m., at the same time as the plenary session in Parliament, unlike the rallies held on other days.
The citizens initially gathered in Skanderbeg Square and then marched toward the Prime Minister’s Office. During the rally, chants against the government were repeated, while the protesters called for Prime Minister Edi Rama to step down.
Yesterday’s rally was accompanied by tensions, clashes with police forces and the detention of several people.
At the end of the protest, the organizers announced that the rallies would continue today.
