The Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has decided to call an Extraordinary Assembly, after the statutory requirement for support with signatures of at least one-third of delegates was met.

The official announcement emphasizes that the decision fully respects the party’s Statute and its internal organizational rules.
The session will take place on Thursday, July 30, and the agenda will include an analysis of recent developments in LDK, as well as issues regarding its structures and leadership.
Shqipe Pantina, a representative of LDK, has announced that the meeting aims to hold a confidence vote on the current party chairman.
In a statement to the media outlet “Bota sot”, she expressed confidence that this step will pave the way for a new electoral process within the political formation, where every aspirant will have the opportunity to present their platform and project to turn LDK into a winning force.
“This LDK Assembly has been convened with a clear objective: to put the confidence issue before the Chairman. The expectation is that afterwards, conditions will be created for an internal contest, where anyone interested can run as a candidate, present their vision for LDK’s future, and the path for the party to return as a winner,” she declared.
