Efforts to extinguish wildfires in several areas of Delvinë and Finiq are continuing without interruption, with crews on the ground and aircraft deployed.

Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari announced in a social media post that the operation is under way in several villages across these areas, where the situation remains difficult.
According to him, numerous firefighting crews, State Police officers, the Armed Forces and local emergency services are involved in efforts to bring the flames under control. Three helicopters are also operating from the air.
Lamallari said all relevant agencies are fully engaged and that operations are continuing without interruption, both on the ground and from the air.
He stressed that protecting the lives of citizens, homes and property threatened by the fires remains the authorities’ top priority.
The minister urged residents of Delvinë and Finiq to follow the authorities’ instructions and refrain from taking any action that could increase the risk of the flames spreading.
