In a statement to KP, Kusari-Lila expressed confidence that the verdict could be corrected through subsequent steps, while calling for unity, prudence and careful planning.
According to her, yesterday’s ruling saddened not only the citizens of Kosovo but all Albanians, while the frustration and protests are understandable. She stressed that, under these circumstances, it is essential to act prudently and appropriately, with the aim of securing the full and unconditional release of the four KLA leaders, who, as she put it, were unjustly devastated by the previous day’s ruling.
Kusari-Lila added that there are opportunities and scope to correct what happened yesterday, but that doing so requires unity, a clear plan and a high degree of prudence in preparing the next step.
