Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has invited the leaders of the political parties to a meeting ahead of the constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly, which is scheduled to take place on August 6.

The meeting is expected to focus on finding a solution to the deadlock over the constitution of the Assembly and on steps toward establishing the country’s new institutions.
Invitations to the meeting scheduled for Tuesday have so far been sent to PDK leader Bedri Hamza, LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, and Alliance leader Ardian Gjini.
Sources say the discussions are also expected to include the formation of the new government and the possibility of reaching a political agreement.
