Party organization featured prominently in the talks, particularly preparations for the internal election process. Discussions between branch leaders and Presidency members concluded with an agreement in principle to announce the elections.
However, the statement issued does not specify when the elections will be officially announced or provide a concrete timetable for holding them.
LVV explains that, through its internal elections, it aims to renew and consolidate its structures, involve its membership more widely, develop its personnel and strengthen its relationship with citizens at every organizational level.
