He announced that the project is progressing according to schedule. If the current pace is maintained, the bridge is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

According to Kurti, this major infrastructure project will improve connectivity for residents, enhance safety and provide law enforcement agencies with faster and easier access to both banks of the river. The investment also aims to create more favorable conditions for the area’s economic development.

The plans envisage a bridge measuring 65 meters in length and 22.5 meters in width. It will have four vehicle lanes, each 3.5 meters wide, as well as 2.2-meter-wide sidewalks on both sides.

The project also includes two roundabouts and a 500-meter road section. In addition, the rehabilitation of the Iber riverbed is planned across an area 525 meters long and 47 meters wide, with the aim of protecting the environment, improving safety and preserving the surrounding infrastructure.
