Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has declared that he is not aware of the Special Court’s decision-making regarding the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

The final verdict for Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi is expected to be made public by the Special Court on September 16.
Asked by journalists about the outcome of the proceedings, Kurti replied that he had no information.
“I have no information. We are here for energy efficiency, but I have no information,” he said.
The acting prime minister made these statements during a visit to families benefiting from the “Green Energy Future” project.
The trial of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi has reached its final stage, after the parties concluded the presentation of their evidence and arguments. The trial panel’s decision is considered one of the most important developments since the proceedings began in The Hague.
Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi have been held in pretrial detention in The Hague since November 2020.
