During the meeting, Kurti expressed his gratitude for the ambassador’s service and contribution to strengthening relations between Kosovo and France.
“The partnership relations between Kosovo and France have continued to grow stronger, while cooperation has become even more concrete during this year alone. The meeting and working lunch with President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in March, as well as the visit by Minister Delegate for Europe Benjamin Haddad to Kosovo in July, were followed by five new agreements and instruments. They aim to advance cooperation in justice, education and Francophonie, alongside the financial and institutional partnership for organizing the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games,” the prime minister declared.
According to him, these achievements create an important foundation for further strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in sectors of common interest. Kurti also emphasized that France remains an important ally and partner of Kosovo, while its support for the country’s European path and Euro-Atlantic integration is of particular importance.
At the conclusion, Albin Kurti wished Olivier Guérot success in his future engagements and extended a standing welcome to him in Kosovo.
