Kosovo Assembly’s constitutive session resumes today, deputy speakers expected to be elected

The Kosovo Assembly will meet again today to continue its constitutive session, with the election of the Assembly’s deputy speakers on the agenda.

According to a notice from the Directorate for Media and Public Relations, the session will resume at 11:00 a.m. in the session hall.

The process of electing the deputy speakers was not completed during the continuation of Wednesday’s session, as lawmakers failed to reach agreement on how the candidates would be voted on.

As a result, the newly elected Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, announced that the session would be postponed until Friday.
