After the completion of technical interventions and repairs to the identified faults, unit A3 of the Kosova A thermal power plant has been reconnected to the electricity grid, the Kosovo Energy Corporation announced.
The unit was synchronized in the early hours of the morning and is now operating normally, with stable parameters.

According to KEK, the unit’s return to operation was made possible by the major effort, professionalism and dedication of the technical teams, which intervened efficiently to resolve the problems and bring the unit back into operation.
“KEK expresses its gratitude and special thanks to the professional and technical staff and all employees of the Kosova A thermal power plant for their uninterrupted effort, responsibility and dedication demonstrated in overcoming the technical challenges and ensuring the continuity of electricity production,” the statement said.
