Deputy Prime Minister and acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, held a meeting with Italy’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, with relations between the two countries and the latest political developments at the center of the talks.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, the meeting discussed Kosovo’s path toward the European Union, its goal of joining NATO, as well as the political situation in the country, including the process of forming the new government.

The talks also addressed economic cooperation between Kosovo and Italy, focusing on expanding trade exchanges, strengthening economic cooperation and advancing joint projects.
Konjufca expressed gratitude to the Italian deputy minister for the continuous support Italy has provided to Kosovo at all stages of state-building, underlining that Italy continues to be one of the country’s most important international partners.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, the meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, reaffirming the commitment of both states to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
