Bilall Kasami, mayor of the Municipality of Tetovo, visited the site to inspect the progress of work along the route of the Tetovo–Prizren road. After the inspection, he said the project was being implemented according to the planned schedule.

According to Kasami, work at the construction site is proceeding at full capacity, while the completion of this important infrastructure project is being carried out in line with the established standards.
“Today, I inspected firsthand the work being carried out along the route of the Tetovo–Prizren road. The work is progressing according to the planned schedule, with full commitment to meeting the standards established for this important project,” Kasami said.
He described the Tetovo–Prizren route as a strategically important investment for Tetovo and the wider region, as it is expected to provide faster and safer travel between North Macedonia and Kosovo.
According to Kasami, the project’s benefits are not limited to improving transport links. The road is also expected to stimulate economic development, increase trade exchanges and expand regional cooperation.
“This road is a strategic investment for Tetovo and the entire region, creating faster and safer connections with Kosovo and opening up new opportunities for economic development,” he stressed.
The Tetovo–Prizren road project is considered one of the main infrastructure projects aimed at bringing the two countries closer together. Once completed, it is expected to facilitate the movement of citizens and the transport of goods on both sides of the border.
