A Jet Ski has been impounded by the Border Police after it was spotted operating within the safety perimeter and endangering the lives of vacationers. The operator was fined 300,000 new lek.

The incident was identified during patrols at Hidrovori Beach in the Zvërnec area. Border Police officers, together with the Maritime Police Unit, found that the watercraft had entered the area designated for swimmers.
Following the checks, the authorities seized the Jet Ski and imposed an administrative fine of 300,000 new lek on its owner, a citizen with the initials A. V., in accordance with the legislation in force.
The Border Police announced that intensive patrols and inspections will continue along the coastline, with the aim of protecting vacationers and enforcing navigation rules.
