Tehran has warned that it will strike infrastructure across the region if US President Donald Trump decides to carry out threats to attack Iranian infrastructure.
Tensions between Iran and the United States have risen significantly, increasing fears of a new military escalation in the Middle East.

The spokesman for the central command of the Iranian army, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, said that Tehran’s response to an American attack will not be limited to proportionality, but will be “more powerful.”
According to him, any strike by the US will be met with a response that is “tougher, broader and more destructive than before.”
Zolfaghari’s reaction came after Trump stated that the United States could attack bridges and power plants in Iran next week if Tehran does not return to the negotiating table.
He also stressed that Iran will not, under any circumstances, accept American interference in the Strait of Hormuz, which he described as Tehran’s “unbreakable red line.”
