The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced today that over the past 24 hours, police at several different locations across the country deprived seven people of their liberty after narcotic substances were found on them.
According to the Interior Ministry’s statement, yesterday at 10:30 in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department arrested F.S. (21) from Skopje after marijuana was found on him and confiscated.

Also yesterday, at 12:20 in the Karposh area of Skopje, police from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department detained M.R. (23) from Skopje after a powdery substance was found on him during a search and confiscated.
In another case, last night at 19:40 in the Gazi Baba area of Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department deprived S.R. (29) from Skopje of his liberty after marijuana was found on him and seized.
This morning, at 03:00 in the Center area of Skopje, police from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department arrested A.Ç. (22) from Skopje after a white solid substance was found on him and confiscated.
On 20.06.2025 at 23:50, in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department deprived H.A. (25) from Skopje of his liberty after marijuana was found on him and confiscated.
Also, this morning at 00:45, in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department arrested E.O. (22) from Skopje after marijuana was found on him and confiscated.
In the seventh case, on 20.06.2026 at 17:30, in the village of Pallçisht, in the Gostivar area, police officers from the Kamjan Police Unit deprived L.S. (21) from the village of Lower Pallçisht of his liberty. According to the statement, after noticing the police officers, he threw away a package containing marijuana, which was later found and confiscated.
The Interior Ministry stressed that after all the cases are fully documented, the appropriate charges will be filed against the detained individuals.
