Igballe Berisha Huduti has reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama after he labeled her the “sister” of Tehran general Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in the conflict with the United States.
In a response published on social media, Huduti said that her participation in the protest does not stem from personal interests or gain, but from patriotic and civic motives. She stressed that her words and voice will remain in the service of truth, justice, and the public interest.

Full response:
Dear Prime Minister Edi Rama,
My participation in the protest is not connected to personal gain, but to civic and patriotic convictions. I come from an Albanian family, and in life I have faced many trials, injustices, and hardships. For this very reason, I cannot remain silent in the face of the injustices affecting my people.
Even if one day my body is no longer here, my words and my voice will continue to serve truth, justice, and human dignity. I do not join the protest out of hatred for anyone, but out of love for my people and the conviction that every citizen has the right to speak when they believe the public interest is being harmed.
I call on you, every world leader, and the EU to listen to the voices of outraged citizens. History has shown that there is no power stronger than the will of a conscious people. I believe the best way to avoid division and conflict is through dialogue, justice, and respect for citizens.
God is witness to our deeds. Positions are a trust and a responsibility. When power is exercised justly, it becomes a blessing; when it is abused, it becomes a burden for the one who holds it.
I am Albanian and I feel responsible for the fate of my nation. I cannot sleep peacefully when I see problems affecting our society. I believe a person’s worth is measured by their concern for the troubles of others and by the effort to contribute to the common good.
I seek enmity with no one. I seek peace with justice, dialogue with respect, and a better Albania for all.
Neither East nor West – Peace with Justice for Albania.
