Lawyer Maks Haxhia has revealed details from today’s hearing at the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime on the security measure to be imposed on Ergys Agasi.

According to him, after the evidence submitted and the prosecution’s decisions were analyzed, the charge of unlawful deprivation of liberty against Agasi no longer stood.
Haxhia said that a charge of passive corruption was presented at the hearing, while he assessed that the uncertainty surrounding the material submitted so far had influenced the effort to exert pressure on the court.
He added that his client gave explanations, insisting that he had never taken part in tenders, had not benefited from them and had not been part of criminal groups involved in various forms of pressure.
