Lutfi Haziri, deputy leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, has called for coordination between parties and institutions, assessing that only a comprehensive agreement on the creation of institutions can put an end to the political crisis and restore stability in the country.
In a Facebook post, he said that Kosovo needs a clear political agenda, as the country is at the end of the second week after the June 7 elections.

“Party and institutional cooperation is the only way to break the vicious circle that is exhausting the Republic! Kosovo today needs a clarified agenda as we are at the end of the second week after the June 7 elections. Whichever option reaches a comprehensive agreement must place the development program and the strategic agenda at its core, while the scenario of dividing institutional responsibilities should come last. Party and institutional cooperation is the only way to break the vicious circle, to put an end to political crises, which means restoring stability,” he wrote.
Haziri also underlined that Kosovo’s position as a factor of stability in the region is directly linked to its internal political stability and to cooperation among the country’s political entities.
“We have promised that the Republic of Kosovo is a factor of regional stability, while respecting democratic values. This role as a source of regional stability stems from stability and cooperation within Kosovo. The Republic of Kosovo ‘endures’ frequent elections only when it remembers that one day it could even be left without elections. One man and one party is a lost cause on February 17! The Republic above all!” he wrote.
