He expressed support for Ambassador and Professor Bekim Sejdiu, describing him as one of the most suitable candidates for the position.

Bekim Sejdiu, an ideal candidate for President of Kosovo
In recent days, several names have been mentioned as possible candidates for the next President of the Republic of Kosovo. Among them is Ambassador and Professor Bekim Sejdiu.
Bekim Sejdiu is a wise choice for Kosovo, as he carries no political baggage or party affiliations. He has extensive professional, governmental, legal, academic and diplomatic experience. During his career, he has served as a judge on the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, the Republic of Kosovo’s first ambassador to Turkey, consul general in New York, and a professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Pristina.
Kosovo needs precisely such a person: level-headed, well-prepared, knowledgeable about the law, someone who understands how the state functions and knows how to communicate with the world. The country needs a president who serves its citizens and protects the Constitution, Kosovo’s dignity and its interests.
Ambassador Sejdiu understands the sacrifices made by the people of Kosovo for freedom, independence and democracy. He knows the path the country has taken to reach this point. At the same time, he is knowledgeable about the international arena, diplomacy, relations with allies and the importance of strong ties with the United States of America. His experience in Turkey, an important NATO member state, and in New York, where he built strong relationships with senior American officials and the Albanian-American community, is a significant asset for Kosovo.
The Republic of Kosovo needs a president capable of confronting crises, remaining calm and uniting society while moving the country forward. I call on all political parties in Kosovo, both those in government and those in opposition, to act immediately and without delay. Kosovo needs a serious and respected figure such as Bekim Sejdiu, who can unite political leaders, institutions, citizens and allies around a shared objective: strengthening the state of Kosovo.
