Ramush Haradinaj, former leader of the AAK, announced that he and Alliance MPs had met with France’s Minister Delegate for European Affairs, Benjamin Haddad. They discussed the current situation in Kosovo and the country’s European prospects.

Following the meeting, Haradinaj said they had expressed their gratitude to Minister Haddad and France for their continued support for Kosovo. At the same time, they asked for this support to continue, particularly for Kosovo’s bid to join the Council of Europe, secure EU candidate country status, and become a member of NATO.
Haradinaj also announced that he and his Alliance colleagues had presented the French minister with their proposal for forming the country’s institutions. According to him, the proposal’s six points are crucial to the country’s development and future.
He said France has been and remains one of Kosovo’s most important friends, making an invaluable contribution at every stage of its path toward freedom, independence, and state-building. Haradinaj expressed enduring gratitude for this role.
