Gjini described the situation as an energy crisis, saying that, after many years, Kosovo is once again facing large-scale imports and very high prices that citizens ultimately pay out of their own pockets.

He accused the government of mismanaging the sector and announced that AAK would request a parliamentary interpellation on the energy situation. Gjini said the Prosecutor’s Office and other institutions would also be called on to address the issue seriously.
