France’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on French citizens currently in Kosovo to exercise heightened caution tomorrow, September 16.

According to a notice published by the ministry, large political gatherings are expected to take place in all cities across Kosovo, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
French authorities have not provided details about the reason for organizing the gatherings, while the warning was also published with the label “Breaking news.”
“Gatherings – Call for vigilance. On September 16, beginning at 10:00 a.m., large political gatherings are planned in all cities across Kosovo. French citizens are advised to stay away from these gatherings. They should avoid non-essential travel within the cities and throughout the country until the end of the day,” the notice said.
September 16 also marks the announcement of the judgment in the “Thaçi and Others” case at the Special Court in The Hague.
Meanwhile, other diplomatic representations and international missions have also called on their employees and on the citizens of the countries or members of the organizations they represent to stay away from the gatherings and avoid unnecessary travel and outings.
